Duke Talent Search TIP

It's been a few years since I heard about this program and this year our youngest qualified for the Duke TIP 4th/5th grade talent search. So I filled out the paperwork that was sent home to us since she currently meets all the requirements for the program and we will see if she is selected.
She is already in her elementary schools gifted program called SPACE. She enjoys it very much.
I do hope she is selected, she qualified by scoring a 99% in the ARMT test.
I thought that was very neat.  I don't brag on my kids to much, but I thought this was neat.

Got to start somewhere!

It should come as no surprise that I am starting a new blog at the beginning of the year.

Every now and then I get the urge that I should write down how I am feeling and what's going on in my life. I usually find something else to do when that feeling arises.

I have no idea what happened today but writing won out.

I am not the best writer; I tend to write how I think and well that's all wompy jawed.

If you see major grammatical errors it wouldn't surprise me.

Believe me, I am thrilled with my Associates' degree and happy to be a stay at home mom.

School was not my thing, ever. Don't tell my family they all think I am a genius.

I've heard people mumbling under their breath something about being a smart cookie.
